A stock photograph is one that has been taken without a specific brief. Commissioned photos are requested in advance and the photographer will shoot to specification. When a photographer shoots first and sells later, the photos are called ’stock’.
Microstock photography is an offshoot of traditional stock photography. What defines a company as a microstock photography company is that they source their images almost exclusively via the Internet, do so from a wider range of photographers than the traditional stock agencies and sell their images at more accessible rates.

Microstock images are used in websites, magazines, brochures, business cards, vehicle graphics, billboards, book covers, tshirts, booklets, leaflets, the list is endless ! If you would like to buy some of my images to use in your designs, please click on an agency logo to your left. Alternatively, you can email me here to discuss individual pricing. |
