The Shop..

Located in Carnew, Co. Wicklow (Maggie’s hometown), the shop is a former Co-op premises thats been crammed to the rafters with everyday items saved from landfill. The shop itself is small, but the barn out the back is where the real magic happens. Every week hundreds of items travel in through the doors to be sorted, washed & priced before sale days. You could genuinely find anything inside it’s walls.

Items in the shop are priced to encourage movement. Think of a charity shop, only cheaper! Affordable nostalgic treasures are the name of the game & from holy keepsakes to 1970s wardrobes, very little is turned away.

Haberdashery.

Aswell as a vast array of vintage, the shop also houses a haberdashery with all the things Maggie loves to craft & sew with. Fabrics chosen by someone who loves to sew, destashes from all over the country for 50p per item, the haberdashery has been a runaway success!

Opening Days Explained.

The shop isn’t open every day. It takes time to gather these types of treasures especially when you cant just pop to the cash and carry to restock. We like to open on at least 4 separate shop days per month, with a good even mix of weekdays & weekends. Newest dates are always posted on our social media accounts & here on the website.

What We Take.

At the shop, we love when people choose us over landfill. Discarding items cost money, whether its a couple of hundred euro for a skip or wheelie bin lift charges every week, it all adds up. When you drop items into the shop it costs you nothing & it ensures that people will be able to keep finding VERY affordable items here in the future. We take most pre 1990 items from cutlery to curtains, plates to presses. Ticky tacky framed prints from the 70s, religious items you don’t know what to do with. So much! Getting Your Items To Us.

You can arrange a drop off appointment at any time by texting 087 4218612. If you have a large amount of items to get rid of we can even collect. We can’t accept drop offs without an appointment & remember that items need to be pre-approved by a team member before an appointment can be scheduled.
